Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026

LumePick LLC operates the lumepick online store and website, together with the product pages, checkout, customer accounts, and related tools offered through that site (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

The store runs on Shopify. Shopify supplies the commerce platform that lets us take orders and operate the site. If our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy ever conflict on how personal information is handled, this Privacy Policy controls that topic.

Please read this page before you browse, create an account, or place an order. Using the Services means you understand the practices described here.

Personal Information We Collect or Process

“Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be tied to you. It does not include information that has been de-identified so it can no longer be linked to a person.

Depending on how you use the site and the law that applies where you live, we may collect or process:

  • Contact details such as name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
  • Payment and order details such as payment method, transaction records, billing data, payment confirmation, and information needed to complete a purchase.
  • Account details such as login credentials, saved preferences, account settings, and security-related information.
  • Shopping activity such as items you view, add to a cart or list, buy, return, exchange, or cancel, and your order history.
  • Messages you send us, including support emails, product questions, and reviews.
  • Device and technical data such as device type, browser, network information, IP address, cookies, and similar identifiers.
  • Usage data such as pages visited and how you move through the Services.

Sources of Personal Information

We may receive personal information:

  • From you, when you visit the site, open an account, check out, email us, leave a review, or otherwise submit details.
  • Automatically, through cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tools on your device.
  • From vendors that help us run payments, hosting, fulfillment, shipping, analytics, and customer support.
  • From Shopify and other partners, where the law allows.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information, as needed for the Services you use, to:

  • Run and improve the store, including taking payment, filling orders, sending order and account notices, arranging shipment, handling returns and refunds, enabling reviews, and making the site easier to use.
  • Send marketing or show advertising where the law allows, including promotional email if you have not opted out.
  • Protect the store and customers by detecting, looking into, and responding to fraud, abuse, or other harmful activity.
  • Answer questions, provide support, and send transactional messages about your order or account.
  • Meet legal duties, respond to lawful requests, apply our policies, settle disputes, and protect LumePick LLC, the Services, and other users.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may share personal information:

  • With Shopify and with vendors that process payments, host the site, store data, analyze traffic, prevent fraud, pack and ship orders, or support customers.
  • With advertising or marketing partners where permitted by law.
  • When you ask us to share it or give permission.
  • With affiliated companies, if any, that help operate the business.
  • In connection with a sale, merger, financing, or similar change in the business.
  • When required by law, court order, subpoena, or a valid government request, or when needed to protect the Services, our rights, or the rights of others.

Relationship with Shopify

Shopify hosts the Services. Shopify processes information about how you use the store so it can provide and improve its platform.

Information collected on the site may be sent to Shopify or other providers in countries other than the one where you live. Shopify’s own notices, including the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal, describe Shopify’s practices and the tools it offers.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember settings, study traffic, improve performance, reduce fraud, tailor content, and measure ads.

You can usually control cookies in your browser settings and, if we display a cookie banner or preference tool, through that tool.

Third-Party Websites and Links

The site may link to pages we do not operate. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, security, or terms. Review the third party’s policy before you share information or complete a purchase there.

Children’s Data

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority where they live.

A parent or guardian may email us at the address below to ask that a child’s information be deleted when the law provides that right.

Security and Retention of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures that are reasonable for a retail website. No online transmission or storage method is fully secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without authorization.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to run the store, keep business and tax records, complete orders, follow the law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

  • Ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to delete personal information.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask for a portable copy of certain information.
  • Object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses.
  • Withdraw consent if we rely on consent.
  • Stop promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

These rights are not unlimited. We may decline a request when the law allows, and we may need to confirm your identity first.

If you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still send non-promotional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, account notices, and replies to support requests.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle personal information, email us using the contact details below.

You may also have the right to appeal our response or to contact a data-protection or consumer-protection authority in your state or country.

International Transfers

Personal information may be stored or processed outside the state or country where you live, including by Shopify and other vendors.

Where the law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on appropriate contracts or other recognized mechanisms.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy when our practices, the Services, or the law change. The current version will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the law requires extra notice, we will provide it.
